Dr Karia and her staff are continually looking at the standard of care provided and listening to what our patients want. Should you feel that any changes would be beneficial to the patient guide, if you feel that we have omitted to include something, or should you feel you have any comments or suggestions to make regarding the services we provide, please let Dr Karia or her staff know. Alternatively, you may complete a suggestion form kept in the waiting area and put it either named ot anonymously into the confidential box provided.

 

Complaints Policy

It is vital for us to provide the best service possible at all times, but should we fail you, or you are unhappy with the service provided, please let us know either in person or in writing. Once the complaint has been received, you should expect the following from us:

 

  1. The complaints handler will send an acknowledgment letter to the complainant within 2 working days
  2. An investigation will take place and the findings will be recorded
  3. Once the investigation has been completed, a letter will be sent to the patient to resolve the situation.
  4. We will aim to resolve any complaints as soon as possible, but never more than 20 days.

 

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may take your complaint to the Care Quality Commission:

Data Protection

We are registered with the Data Protection Agency. All patient information is strictly confidential. Staff are trained to respect patient confidentiality.

 

Patient's Privacy

A chaperone is available upon request. A private area is available for patients who wish to discuss confidential matters with staff.
